SERVING THE HOMELESS COMMUNITY

You may be a product of your environment, but you don’t have to be a prisoner to it

  • In January 2020, there were 580,466 people experiencing homelessness in America. 
  • 70% were individuals and the rest were people living in families with children.   


Contributing factors to homelessness include poverty, mental illness, the lack of services, substance abuse and the lack of affordable housing.

Big Mama’s House is serious about working with non-profits and government organizations to assist with the homeless epidemic that plagues our communities. We will work to do our part to help close the gap on the cause of homelessness and the discrimination that governs them. Big Mama's House will open its doors by providing them with an affordable shared living environment, while working with agencies to foster each individual’s mental, physical and emotional needs. Homelessness is the heart of what we do and why we do it. We believe that having a place to call home is one of the beginning steps of change.
